I've been "sort of" following Margaret Mannings "Sixty and Me" blog for a year or so and enjoy what she writes. Recently, she started doing daily "15-minute video clips" http://sixtyandme.com/helen-mirren-gives-some-advice-tedx-lausanne-women-and-kindness-warriors/ where she talks about the news headlines, but primarily focuses on "good news." She lives in Switzerland but I think she is an American. Anyway, the more I've watched her videos, the more I look forward to hear what she's got to say about "global news." Be aware that her blog and vblog (video blog) is a money-making venture for her where she sells various things on her website (you go, Margaret). Far be it from me to criticize an older woman for trying to deliver a service to older women which they find interesting (and if on the side, she promotes certain products that she recommends, well, okay...I will normally pass on buying anything...this morning I watched a little bit of her "makeup lessons for older women" and saw that she sells that series for $25).
I can't believe all the "product" that such videos try to sell us!). Yesterday, I watched a YouTube about a makeover for older women yesterday and was horrified to see all the "paint" that is recommended...layer and layers of goo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bua-nkhVHlg [note that this YouTube has nothing to do with Margaret Manning]/
Anyway, I'm interested in your comments.
